Job Description
A reputable recruiting agency is currently recruiting for an oil and gas company.
Responsibilities:
- HSEMS manual development and implementation
- Development of HSE policies, procedures, plans, and coordination of health and safety programs
- Outlining safe operational practices & procedures to the general workforce, ensuring that all operational activities are carried out in accordance with Company's safety policies, statutory regulations & guidelines.
- Conduct pre-operational risk assessments on new sites and design risk mitigation measures.
- Coordinate and participate in the investigation of accidents and near misses; review and analyze accidents and near miss incidents and making corrective action recommendations.
- Ensure regular emergency response exercises and drills are conducted to ensure the highest level of preparedness in any emergency.
- Maintains records of such drills, providing recommendations for emergency response improvements.
- Carrying out periodic safety inspections of, and prepare inspection reports for, Company equipment as required.
- Delivering safety training to employees. Developed and maintained training and competency records.
- Documenting Company HSE Statistics and reviewing to ensure that HSE targets are achieved.
- Providing appropriate PPE
- Responsible for monthly HSE reports and newsletter
- Toolbox talks
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Minimum Qualification is HND
- Required Experience is 3 - 5 years
